Last week Heidi over at Spiritual knitter bestowed me the great honor of a Thinking Blogger Award. This is an award/meme where you choose five blogs that make you think … and then those five list their own top 5. (Click here to read about the origin of the meme.)
Which means that now I have the privilege of naming five bloggers who Make Me Think. The award goes to…
1. Gretchen at Adventures of Lawmommy. I’ve been a fan of hers since she was early in the paperchase. Now with a new four year old daughter home from Vietnam she says what I’m thinking and ponders issues I haven’t even considered yet.
2. E. at Looking for George. No matter the topic, E. is entertaining, interesting, and often educational. And she’s not afraid to say what she thinks, even if it might offend. Always a good attribute in a blogger.
3. Nicki at Stepping On Legos … I just love when there’s a new post from Nicki. Being a mom of seven kids gives her lots of blog fodder. She’s sensitive and loving and funny too.
4. Elle (at Life of Elle, of course) can make any topic interesting. Don’t believe me? Check out her post on snot (with handy snot chart!).
5. Rhonda at Worth The Wait. Funny and a great writer. And she writes the most beautiful touching posts about her two children recently adopted from Russia.
So there’s my 5. This was surprisingly difficult for me, because I read 40+ blogs on a regular basis and every one of you makes me think. I can’t wait to see who Gretchen, E., Nicki, Elle and Rhonda name as their Top 5. Something tells me my blogroll will be growing again! So Ladies, consider yourselves tagged!

I don’t know about the other blogs, but I can certainly vouch for your blog, “Life of Elle” and “Worth The Wait” as being great, thought- provoking blogs!
