1. My parents are in town for a weekend visit which has left little time for blogging.
2. A pity because I had quite the bloggable day on Wednesday
3. There was a squirrel in my closet.
4. No, not in the wall of the closet. Actually IN my closet.
5. My cat, Kisa, chased him in there from wherever he was hiding in our house. She totally rocks. Our other two cats? Slackers.
6. It took the whole day to get him out of the house.
7. He went out the window. Not of his own accord. Let’s just say the story didn’t end so happily for the little black squirrel.
Told you these would be quick ones! Sorry, so lame… I actually tried to write up the squirrel story yesterday but it came out all dumb and poorly written and I didn’t have time for a re-write. Hopefully I shall do better with the blogging next week when I’m not cleaning like a madwoman in preparation for guests or busy entertaining said guests.
Have a great weekend all!
More quick takes here.
ps… to make up for the lame week of blogging… enjoy this awesomely entertaining literal video version of Total Eclipse of The Heart.

LOVE that video!
Once had a squirrel in my Christmas tree. We finally got it out. It died as a result. Don’t feel bad. I also am a squirrel murder.

Bwa ha ha ha ha ha! I just saw your comment on my blog. I had NO idea you’d posted this, too, and on the same day! That makes it all the more entertaining. Great minds think alike, right?

What dod you do to the poor little squirrell??? AWWWWWWWWW. Oh my gosh, you posted my absolute favorite video. Why did I not think to post this on my blog? My friends and I quote this song to each other all the time… My favorite part? “Stoooop, you’re making it worse!” haha. And “What the effing crap, that angel guy just felt me up.” HILARIOUS!

melodyofamom,
My poor Hubby felt SO bad. Basically our have-a-heart trap was too big for a tiny squirrel and he ran right back out it… so the next time he went in the trap, my dad and hubby tossed the whole thing out the window. Drastic, but pretty necessary since it was by then 10:00 at night and he was running loose in our bedroom at that point and I really wanted to go to bed!!
Hi! So nice to see a new face in my comments!
Don’t ask about the squirrel… it didn’t end well.
